From Sparky: Tuesday July 06, 2004 10:14pm cdt:
Dear GETC Fans, Volume was light Tuesday, granted; but GETC shares showed some signs of strength we haven't seen for months. For starters, virtually no shares were traded at Best Bid all day; which in a stochastic sense means that an uptrend is becoming defined. Also, we closed the day Tuesday with a mere 4 cent spread between Best Bid & Best Ask. This 10% spread compares very nicely to the 20% to 25% spreads we've seen in the past half dozen sessions. Moreover, it's interesting to note that the bid support at 40 cents during the session's final half came from NITE & SCHB, hardly minor MMs. And just as significant, GVRC crept right up to 39 cents and stayed there, obviously fishing for shares. And lastly, it strikes Sparky as quite positive that so few sellers have been staken loose, despite the 63% spike from 27 cents to 44 cents we've seen over the past six sessions. This is a perfect example of the lack of elasticity Sparky's mentioned, the one that's so unique to GETC's shareholder base. So listen up shorters, for you have clearly and wrongly bet against a management team that enjoys an abundance of shareholder support - so brace yourselves, this is going to hurt! Sincerely, Sparky

Fallon, thanks for your opinion. I made this post Thursday night on another board where GETC is actively discussed, and Friday did see somewhat of a pullback. It is just a matter of time and news may make a quick push up in price. greatday8 ====== Made this post Thursday night 07/08 =============== GETC seems to have run into resistance at the $0.45 area, and has tested it several times in the past week. I believe this resistance will eventually be broken, but the question, will there be a pause and maybe a pullback of some sort first? With news, I believe GETC should easily break this resistance. greatday8 =======================================

Dear xxxxxx,
Yes, I did just get back from out of town.
Things have progressed nicely and we are coming to the final stretch, in what has been a longer road, than was originally expected. The point being, that this is heading to conclusion.
We have kept quiet to bring this forward, so other things will now also progress.
That's all that I can say for now.
Best Regards,
Rick

The trading of GETC for the week of October 18 was very interesting. Trading activity by day with closing Bid and Ask: ___Date ___ Ex Open High Low Close Chg Vol #Tr Bid Ask 2004-10-22 Q 0.11 0.15 0.11 0.15 0.02 87,038 9 0.14 0.17 2004-10-21 Q 0.135 0.135 0.12 0.13 0.01 10,000 3 0.11 0.135 2004-10-20 Q 0.135 0.135 0.12 0.12 -0.01 10,000 2 0.11 0.135 2004-10-19 Q 0.13 0.13 0.11 0.13 0.01 177,350 20 0.11 0.14 2004-10-18 Q 0.13 0.13 0.12 0.12 0.01 104,600 12 0.12 0.14 2004-10-15 Q 0.13 0.13 0.11 0.11 -0.02 31,492 8 0.11 0.13 Monday, Oct 18 seen trades between the Bid and Ask. 12 trades for 104,600 shares with a low of .12 and high of .13 and closing at .12 x .14. A tug of war between the Bears and Bulls. Tuesday, Oct 19 is a very interesting day. 20 trades for 177,350 shares with a trading range of .11 to .13 and closing quote of .11 x .14. The trading deserves a closer look. Look at the trading, early in the day it was away from the Ask and between the spread. The Ask come down to .12 and was immediately hit with buying and within 5 minutes it was back at .13. Then at 2:26 there was strong buying at the Ask of .13 which last about 10 minutes before the MMs moved the Ask to .14. I would break the trades down as: Ask = 9 trades for 71,900 shares Bid = 6 trades for 42,450 shares Between = 9 trades for 60,000 shares Rec. Friday, October 22 was a day of buying. No trades in the morning, then a 40,000 print on the Bid of .11 at 1:14 and the Ask moving down to .13. At 1:31 buying at the Ask and five minutes later the Ask was back at .14. An hour later the Bid moved up to .13 and took in 10,000 and filled a couple orders at .14 and the Ask moves to .15. Would some of us be better served to get fully invested in stocks that fit the "Rules of the Road - The January Affect", sell, and take a vacation from the market the rest of the year, if not, to be partiallly invested and to be very selective with those investments?
In hind sight, it may have been nice to sell my GETC during the run or early when it began to correct on March 1,2004. If I had, to repurchase those share now, I would have to hold for another year to get them qualifed for long term gains. Since my expectations are for a much higher price than achived on March 1,2004, maybe holding and accumulating more was not a mistake. Time will tell.
The share price has been under pressure since the LOI of the Telco acquisition, which was taking longer than shareholders expected and eventually terminated in August 2004. Another four months without news creates additional pressure and has tested its yearly lows several times and has held. I believe we have recent selling from those not willing to wait for results from the company and also tax lose selling.
I believe now is an excellent time to buy and accumulate for an anticipated January Affect and anticipating we will soon have news from the company, direction management is taking the company, etc....
IMO, GETC is not one that should be sold, but should be bought during this tax selling, which I think we have been seeing some, and which has been greeted by buyers at .15 and below.
I believe buying now in the 15 cent area offers an opportunity that will be rewarded, when news is released. GETC has test the .11-14 area several times and held for a successful test of support.
About a month ago Rick said he needs to pull a few things together, it is complex. A week ago Rick says things are coming along just fine.
OK, progess is being made on something, so eventually we will get a PR.

Still holding the $2.75 point-n-figure projection. If you can get a fill at $0.12 and sell on a loss of $0.11 it has long side merits (for a run to $1.00). stockcharts.com/gallery?getcDD as always, DJF

If Geotec was to try and become a service company, I doubt they would produce significant income. Of the 2300 independent operators in the US and Canada, they beat down service companies, and other than a few large ones like Haliburton, who leverage their abilities, service companies do not make money in that they would be a good public company. Market position has to be strong, and not just fight for jobs on a bid basis.
Geotec needs to complete the process they are going through, including funding of the company and leverage the technology with projects. The TelcoEnergy acquisition gave Geotec an opportunity but Telco was not able to produce as agreed, so the acquisition was terminated. Geotec can now set the agenda and direction, moving forward in building the company.
Kodiak is a small private company and I do not believe they have a web site. Kodiak's value to Geotec is the management and what they can do for Geotec, which is described in the PR.
I consider the announcement of expansion with a 25% ownership of Kodiak a first step in the direction the company will be headed.
Announcements of the past have not had much follow through, not yielding results. The JV partners seem to have their own problems and not getting funding. Investors have the right to leary about the Kodiak deal and results. It brought questions to my mind. I sent Rick some and will not list them but this is the last paragraph: "I can only assume these details will be released at the appropriate time." This is Rick's reply: "You are correct in your assumptions, in total."
CBM is a huge opportunity for Geotec.
