bought CUNO at 56.01 after a recent price spike. A price stop was set at 54. This was considered a shot in the dark, but with current market conditions poised to a make a come back ( ok well there has only been one of true day of accumulation, but it feels good and it is currently my only play...the rest is in cash) I felt that this stock could shoot back up to it's 52 week high of 60.44. If the latest round of accumulation does indeed continue then I will probably let this one run until at least 65....of course I will re-evaluate it every couple of days.

Oh I forgot to add. I like to make medium term plays on longer term trends....this stock as a pretty d**ned good 5 year trend.

Took a small short position in HNR today. I was long on this high flyer a couple of months ago, and have been watching it off and on since. It looks like it is headed on a one way street down. This is a very conservative position...only risking one percent of capital with a very small buy cover range....

This one was a tough call. I can see a major trend with the potential to go up or down on the 5 year chart. I am feel about 20% confident that it will go the short direction over the next 6 months. Why then did I make this play? Becuase I felt there was a short term possiblity of a serious dip. If it fails and I am bought out then I will probably reverse directions and go long with this one.

Not much to say here. This stock looks to have a stong upside potential. I opened up the bet percentage a little and took a swing for the home run...
Also tried to get in an IIIN, but it looks I may have missed the horse. I have a mental block about chasing them down, but who knows maybe my order will still get filled.

MSS made a new 52 week high today on higher than average volume. This was also a break out point from a previou high in 23.75 1/28/04.
Since I am trying to keep a record of my mental transacitons as well I will say that I feel this stock has a really good feel to it....now watch it fall baby watch it fall!

Stopped out of my HNR position at 14.0 today.
However I reversed my position so now I am long HNR
HNR (long)

stop 13.0
This will effectively be the first time I just up and reversed my position an any stock.
